the label
cajid media is an Australian label for experimental music / sound art / exploratory music which releases & distributes interesting new sonic works by Australian artists, and will release visual works in the future. Artists released to date include Thembi Soddell, Bruce Mowson, Lawrence English, Anthea Caddy, Camilla Hannan, Natasha Anderson, Phillip Pietruschka and James Rushford. We are always keen to discover new Australian talent, so please contact us if you produce anything innovative.

cajid media was founded in 2004 by Jacques and Fran Soddell in Bendigo, and is run in collaboration with their sound artist daughter, Thembi Soddell.
Jacques, originally a microbiologist, is now a sound & video artist. He also curates a regular live series, undue noise, and presents a radio program, possible musics.
Fran's interests include computer graphics znd algorithmic music.
