my main research interests in microbiology include:

  • bacteria causing foaming problems in activated sludge, especially members of the mycolata
  • taxonomy of mycolata and Acinetobacter
  • actinophages in activated sludge
  • fractal analysis  in microbiology
  • lindenmayer systems (modelling growth of microbes and musical interpretations of these models.See  music, L-systems and microbes and autonomousAudio and recent data)
