From 1983 to 2007 Jacques Soddell presented a regular program (weekly, sometimes fortnightly) on local community radio atation 3CCC-FM. After a short break he returned to present it during test transmissions on Phoenix FM broadcasting from Bendigo, Australia and now weekly on Thursday nights 10pm-midnight on its permanent frequency 106.7 (and also streaming on the web). The program covers a range of experimental, exploratory, avant-garde and innovative musics from john cage's silent music (4'33") to the industrial noise of merzbow via minimalism, electronica, sonic youth, improv, free jazz, drum 'n' bass and a thousand other labels music journalists have invented.
